Scenes From The Spider Pavilion

I took my son to the L.A. Natural History Museum’s Spider Pavilion this weekend. You can buy tickets separately from the museum for just a few bucks.  If you are having any trouble getting into the Halloween spirit, this is the perfect place to get you in the mood.

It’s an amazing experience if you’re into creepy crawlies or have a five-year-old boy.  It was a bit tricky to get good photos and I was wishing the whole time I had a good camera.  These pics are all taken with my iPhone 4.  It struggled a bit with the light and it was difficult to get a decent photograph of the big, beautiful orb weavers hanging from the enclosure’s ceiling.

The Spider Pavilion is only here until November 6.  You wouldn’t want to disappoint your inner goth kid now, would you?

Unidentified species. If you know what this is, don't hesitate to drop me a line.
